This Senior Technical Program Manager, Team Lead position serves as the portfolio manager for a large-scale development effort supporting a federal government customer. You will lead a team of project managers and matrixed support staff conducting software development, engineering, cloud computing, and IT portfolio management. Your mission is to assist in developing technical and operational-level plans, conduct requirements gathering, and manage the baseline change control process while overseeing risks, issues, and opportunities.
In this role, you will oversee the creation of critical metrics, maintain reporting artifacts to capture milestones, and identify barriers to ensure efficient agile execution. You will act as a liaison between directorate planning staff, project teams, and line management, managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Success in this position requires expert-level competency in schedule management and a proven track record of resolving project issues to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
