About the Role
This Senior Engineer position serves as a technical anchor for Lumen's Managed Services, requiring a high degree of coding competency and ownership. You will act as a leader and mentor, guiding peers while driving improvements in Network Reliability and Customer Satisfaction. The role bridges the gap between complex Voice & Transport networks and modern AI-driven automation, ensuring that operational efficiency scales alongside customer needs.
You will be the feedback conduit between engineers and AI tooling owners, translating adoption friction and usability gaps into actionable requirements. Your work will directly influence how AI capabilities are embedded into NOC workflows, reducing manual effort while preserving service integrity and operational resilience.
