Senior .NET Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Albany, New York for a long-term engagement. This role is central to the evolution of our software landscape, focusing on the creation of new systems and the strategic modification of existing ones. You will be responsible for driving upgrades to the Microsoft .NET framework and enhancing current functionalities to meet evolving business needs.

As a key member of the .NET Developer Team, you will design and modify system functionality in response to change requests, leveraging a stack that includes .NET C#, SQL Server, Oracle, and FileNet. Your day-to-day will involve developing robust Web REST APIs and implementing enhancements using MVC and Entity Framework. Beyond coding, you will play a critical role in identifying and resolving performance issues within web applications and assisting in the definition of software and hardware requirements for development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production environments.

In addition to technical execution, this position offers the opportunity to mentor the system development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely to deliver high-quality, secure solutions.
