Our client is a leading Industrial Energy and Turbomachinery Aftermarket Engineering organization dedicated to supporting Gas Turbine Servicing, Design, and Engineering Operations. As part of the Engineering / Fluid Systems Team, this role is critical to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of industrial fluid systems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Piping & Fluid Systems, you will serve as a self-starter with strong initiative, driving the design and refinement of complex fluid subsystems. Your work will directly impact fleet performance by analyzing customer data to support redesign efforts that enhance system efficiency and reliability.
In this hybrid role based in Houston, TX, you will collaborate closely with suppliers and experienced engineers to design fluid accessory components, including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and instrumentation. You will be responsible for producing key engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and technical datasheets, while performing critical calculations for pressure drop, pump sizing, and flow analysis. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure all designs align with rigorous industry standards.
