About the Role
This full-time, exempt-level position is based on-site at ADM's complex in Decatur, IL. As a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for the design, development, and management of critical piping systems and pressure vessels across various industrial projects. Beyond execution, you will play a key role in shaping the company's internal standards and specifications.
In this role, you will lead project teams from concept to completion, ensuring seamless coordination with clients, stakeholders, and other engineering disciplines. Your day-to-day involves balancing technical rigor with strategic oversight, managing project schedules and budgets while providing mentorship to junior engineers. You will also drive continuous improvement by maintaining lessons learned registers and staying ahead of industry trends in piping design and mechanical engineering.
