About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead projects and direct junior engineers in the design and execution of mechanical systems. In this role, you will apply rigorous knowledge of mechanical, controls, electrical, and construction methods to develop design solutions for building renovations. You will be responsible for creating drawings, performing calculations, and ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and budgets.
Your day-to-day will involve a mix of office-based design work and on-site assessments. You will visit job sites to perform evaluations, coordinate construction operations, and provide support to the commissioning team. This position requires a balance of technical precision and strong communication skills to manage timelines and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Location & Work Model
This is a permanent position based in Cleveland, OH. While the role is primarily on-site, remote work is available exclusively for candidates residing in the Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA areas. The position requires travel of approximately 25% of the time, which may include overnight stays, utilizing either a personal vehicle or airline travel.
