About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, OH, with a focus on designing electrical systems for commercial and institutional facilities. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, identifying and providing solutions to complex electrical design problems while guiding the engineering process from concept to completion.
You will be responsible for leading projects and directing a small team of junior engineers and designers. Your day-to-day work involves developing and maintaining design standards, performing rigorous calculations, and utilizing engineering practices to create accurate drawings. You will also visit job sites to conduct assessments, coordinate construction operations, and provide support to the commissioning team. This position requires a balance of deep technical expertise in electrical, controls, and construction methods, particularly regarding the renovation of existing buildings, alongside strong communication and time management skills.
Work Location & Travel
While this is a permanent position based in Cleveland, remote work is exclusively available to candidates residing in the Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA areas. The role involves approximately 25% travel, which may include overnight stays. Travel will be conducted via personal vehicle or airline as needed to support project requirements.
