We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with specialized marine and shipyard experience for a direct hire role with a client in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position offers a unique chance to lead high-value commercial and military ship repair contracts, ranging from $1 million to $100 million in value.

This role requires relocation to Hawaii. Comprehensive relocation assistance is provided to support your transition to the islands.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Programs, you will serve as the primary focal point for customer interactions and the overall management of complex ship repair contracts. This position is designed for a leader who can bridge the gap between technical marine engineering and executive project strategy.
In this role, you will act as a key communicator and leader across all project stakeholders, including owners, managers, estimators, engineers, subcontractors, and production teams. Your day-to-day involves interpreting complex technical documents such as NAVSEA Standard Items, blueprints, and test procedures, while applying project management principles to manage risk, track performance, and handle change management.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources including labor and materials, and leading daily and weekly meetings ranging from production reviews to formal customer updates. Success in this role requires leveraging onboard ship experience and a deep knowledge of marine engineering and shipboard systems to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution.
