About the Role
The Project Controller serves as the critical liaison between project management and finance for ASC and other government contracts. This role exists to ensure projects remain within budget and schedule while maintaining strict compliance with government regulations. The position involves producing accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and compliance reporting, effectively bridging the gap between operational execution and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and identify cost variances
- check_circleManage relationships within the Project Controls team scope including estimating and scheduling
- check_circlePerform monthly estimates at completion and analyze cost trends
- check_circlePrepare and submit monthly financial status reports to government clients
- check_circleTrack funding availability and monitor expenditures against contract limitations
- check_circleAdvise project team on cash flow management and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations
- check_circleUpdate schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations and milestones
- check_circleAssess change management processes and ensure required documentation is completed
- check_circlePrepare and ensure accuracy of project invoicing with the Finance Controller
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- verified10-15 years of progressive experience
- verifiedMinimum 5 years supervisory experience
- verifiedMinimum 5 years extensive experience in project controls supervision
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel)
- verifiedExperience with financial management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- verifiedAbility to obtain a government security clearance
