About the Role
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a vital partner to our mission-driven organization, ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming environments where staff, clients, and stakeholders can thrive. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will serve as the frontline guardian of our buildings and residences, executing a wide range of maintenance activities with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness.
This role is designed for a versatile technician who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your day will involve a diverse mix of hands-on work, from troubleshooting complex HVAC systems and repairing electrical fixtures to handling carpentry tasks like drywall and flooring. You will be the go-to resource for both routine preventative maintenance and urgent after-hours emergency work orders, ensuring minimal disruption to our community. Beyond technical repairs, you will manage inventory, coordinate material procurement, and collaborate with other departments to support the overall operational needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleComplete facility work orders for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliances
- check_circleRepair and service HVAC systems and major appliances
- check_circlePerform carpentry tasks including cabinet repair, drywall, trim, and flooring installation
- check_circleAssist with snow and ice removal when applicable
- check_circlePerform interior and exterior painting, floor tile repair, and debris removal
- check_circleAssist other departments with moving furniture and storing supplies
- check_circleFollow all safety protocols and attend mandatory safety meetings
- check_circleConduct preventative maintenance and general repairs on building interior and exterior systems
- check_circlePerform routine electrical repairs including wiring, fuses, fixtures, and sockets
- check_circleRespond to after-hours emergency work orders for buildings and residences
- check_circleExecute plumbing repairs such as replacing water heaters, clearing drainlines, and fixing pipes
- check_circleIdentify, catalog, and procure materials needed for maintenance operations
Requirements
