About the Role
Howmet Aerospace's Hampton, VA, IN facility is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join a key member of the location's EHS Team. This position offers an excellent environment to work and deliver results, supported by the Company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) values and leadership's commitment.
In this role, you will drive environmental stewardship by developing and executing management systems to ensure compliance with all Howmet and governmental regulations. You will manage environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits across disciplines including Air, Wastewater, Storm Water, Chemical, and Waste Disposal/Recycling. As the industry experiences rapid growth, you will lead cross-functional teams to implement environmental improvement projects, evaluating processes to optimize waste reduction and water usage while developing best practices.

Requirements

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete requirements in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and apply Federal, VA state and local regulations.
