About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Powerhouse Stationary Engineer – Electrician to join our Stationary Engineers team in Indianapolis. In this critical onsite role, you will be the guardian of our facility's vital infrastructure, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of steam boilers, generators, air compressors, cooling towers, and complex water conditioning systems. You will monitor these systems using advanced Building Management and SCADA technologies while performing essential pump-out duties for industrial chemical waste.
This position is integral to our 3-shift, 7-days-per-week operation, supporting manufacturing and test operations where safety and reliability are paramount. You will work both inside and outside in all weather conditions, navigating environments with high voltage, moving machinery, and hazardous materials. Your work directly powers, protects, and connects people by maintaining the systems that keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct high voltage electrical switching in local substations and check electrical unit load centers
- check_circleMonitor system conditions using computer-controlled Building Management and SCADA systems
- check_circleOperate production waste treatment systems, including pumping and removing industrial chemical waste
- check_circlePerform routine and emergency maintenance checks on boilers, generators, pumps, and cooling towers
- check_circleUse pipefitter, electrician, and mechanic tools to perform miscellaneous duties incidental to Power House operations
- check_circleOperate, adjust, and maintain utilities equipment to ensure uninterrupted steam, water, gas, and electrical supply
- check_circleLubricate, dismantle, inspect, clean, calibrate, and replace worn or damaged parts on Power House machinery
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma plus 8 years apprenticeship or equivalent training as Stationary Engineer Journeyman OR Industrial Electrician Journeyman
- verifiedValid driver's license
