This position serves as a strategic leader for the Philadelphia district, covering key markets in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. The role exists to drive regional sales performance, ensuring that corporate sales and marketing directions are fully executed within the geographic area. You will be responsible for implementing regional strategies to meet annual sales and market share objectives while fostering a high-performance team environment.
In this role, you will act as a catalyst for growth by developing and maintaining solid relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers. You will monitor product usage patterns, conduct account reviews, and ensure timely responses to customer needs. Beyond sales execution, you will cultivate a culture of accountability and professional development, coaching direct reports to maximize their performance and identifying performance gaps early to create effective remediation plans.
As a leader, you will serve as a communication liaison between the home office and the region, acting as a focal point for sharing best practices and proactively resolving issues. You will exercise fiscal control over allocated operating budgets and ensure that all business activities adhere to strict ethical and professional standards, maintaining Viatris's excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community.
