The Rheumatology Institutional Specialist is a field-based and remote opportunity designed to support key accounts within an assigned geography. This role is critical for ensuring proper access and pull-through for the rheumatology brand portfolio within key hospitals. The specialist will drive demand by creating, coordinating, and executing strategic business plans for top-priority hospitals within designated rheumatology academic and government institutions.
Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the disease area, market dynamics, and competitors. You will work collaboratively with rheumatology sales, marketing, US market access, patient services, and home office staff to implement programs centered on specific institutions. These initiatives must align with business unit strategic goals while strictly adhering to legal and compliance policies.
This is a field-based role requiring the incumbent to reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border. The position involves significant travel, estimated at 60-80% over a broad geography, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory. A valid driver's license is an essential function of this role; Novartis cannot offer relocation support or visa sponsorship for this position.
