The Senior Director of Process & Service Excellence serves as a senior leader within the Operational Strategy and Enablement team, driving enterprise-wide operational excellence across Global Technology Solutions (GTS). This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution, enabling scalable processes, effective program management, and sustainable transformation throughout the organization.
You will partner closely with Program Management, Portfolio Governance, and Adoption & Change Enablement (ACE) leaders to embed an Operational Excellence (OE) mindset into the GTS operating model and culture. The position focuses on simplifying and standardizing business processes and service delivery across all regions and centers of excellence by leading continuous improvement initiatives. By leveraging proven approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3 Thinking, Kaizen, Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Agile, and ITIL-4, you will champion a culture of scientific thinking and systems mindset.
In this capacity, you will establish operational metrics and dashboards that link performance directly to business outcomes, implementing operating mechanisms like daily/weekly management routines and executive ops reviews. You will also lead a distributed network of process excellence practitioners, fostering a community of practice that proactively engages OE/CI professionals across the enterprise.
