At our Bismarck facility, the Senior Nursing Assistant serves as an experienced caregiver dedicated to the physical and psychological needs of our residents. This role is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be a vital member of the nursing team, providing expert-level care in long-term care settings. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver daily living assistance, ensuring a positive and dignified experience for every resident.
Your day will involve providing comprehensive resident-centered care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing. You will be responsible for obtaining and recording vital signs, performing range of motion exercises, and assisting with transfers and walking using proper techniques. Beyond physical care, you will create a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks, while also offering psychosocial support. You will document resident interactions, communicate changing conditions to the charge nurse, and may lead restorative nursing programs. Additionally, you will maintain clean living areas and encourage participation in wellness and recreational activities.
