Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. We are committed to delivering quality care and service within a Christian environment, fostering a culture of compassion and purpose.
As a Nursing Assistant at our Bismarck facility, you will serve as a vital caregiver to residents during evening shifts. You will be an integral member of the nursing team, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your role focuses on meeting the physical and psychological needs of residents through age-appropriate care plans.
Your day will involve assisting residents with essential activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, while ensuring a positive and dignified experience. You will support residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility exercises, and help create a welcoming atmosphere during meal times by assisting with food preparation and dining. Beyond direct care, you will document resident interactions, communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, and support wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off for qualifying positions, along with a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employees enjoy additional perks including daycare partnerships within the community, scholarships and sponsorships for further education, and direct access to earnings daily. Shift differentials are available for night, weekend, and pick-up shifts.
Candidates must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months of hire. The facility provides CNA training and certification. Selected candidates will be required to complete yearly department-specific competency testing, maintain continuing education credits, and pass a drug screen and pre-employment background screening.
