Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. We are committed to delivering quality care and service within a Christian environment, fostering a family-oriented atmosphere where compassion drives every interaction.
As a Nursing Assistant at our Gss Nd Mandan Sunset facility, you will serve as a vital caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is about more than completing tasks; it is about understanding the physical and psychological needs of our residents and delivering age-appropriate care that honors their dignity.
Your day will involve supporting residents with essential activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and dining, while creating a positive and welcoming environment. You will assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques, and provide psychosocial support to enhance the well-being of those in your care. As a member of the nursing team, you will document resident interactions, communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, and participate in wellness and recreational programs. You will also uphold strict infection prevention and control policies, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
To join our team, candidates must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months of starting. We offer CNA training and certification directly through the facility for eligible candidates.
