As a Nursing Assistant at our Gss Nd Mandan Sunset facility in Mandan, ND, you will serve as a vital caregiver to residents during night shifts. You will be an integral member of the nursing team, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Your day will focus on meeting the physical and psychological needs of our seniors through age-appropriate care. You will assist residents with essential activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, while also providing psychosocial support. Your responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with transfers and repositioning using proper techniques, and facilitating a positive dining experience by helping with meals and snacks.
Beyond direct care, you will document resident interactions, communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, and assist with wellness and recreational programs. You will also help maintain clean and operational living areas and may participate in departmental committees. This role is designed for those who find purpose in supporting the well-being of our senior community.
