As a Nursing Assistant at our Gss Nd Mandan Sunset facility in Mandan, ND, you will serve as a vital caregiver to residents during evening shifts. You will be an integral member of the nursing team, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your role focuses on meeting the physical and psychological needs of residents through age-appropriate care plans.
Your day will involve assisting residents with essential activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, while also providing psychosocial support. You will help residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques, and may assist with range of motion exercises. Additionally, you will play a key role in creating positive dining experiences by assisting with meals and snacks, and you will document resident interactions, behaviors, and dietary outcomes to communicate any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
