The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is a strategic sales leader dedicated to driving revenue growth and profitability by prospecting new customers and securing long-term partnerships. This role goes beyond traditional sales; it is focused on "saving, securing, and converting" by managing customer cancellation requests, providing ongoing contract education, and securing commitments through face-to-face interactions. SAEs act as the primary resolver for customer service escalations within their territory, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while growing billable value through new waste streams, services, and products.
This position is highly mobile and relationship-driven. The majority of the week is spent conducting customer site visits within the assigned territory to build trust and identify opportunities. The remainder of the week is split between working from the area office and remotely, where you will develop prospect plans, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with internal teams like Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to optimize equipment and leasing options.
While the role operates within a professional office environment for administrative tasks, the core function requires significant travel to customer sites. The position involves routine use of standard office equipment and the physical ability to navigate various customer locations.
