The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is a strategic sales leader dedicated to driving revenue growth by prospecting new customers and securing long-term partnerships. This role is defined by a "save, secure, and convert" mission: handling customer cancellation requests, educating clients on contract details, and converting non-contracted accounts through face-to-face engagement. Beyond acquisition, the SAE manages existing business relationships to preserve value, utilizing strong negotiation skills to maintain profitability and resolve service escalations within the assigned territory.
This position is highly mobile and field-focused. The majority of the week is spent conducting site visits to build rapport and assess customer needs in person. The remainder of the week is dedicated to cold calling and prospecting to build a robust sales pipeline. Success requires a balance of deep industry knowledge to propose complex solutions—such as equipment optimization and leasing options—and the agility to navigate local, state, and federal regulations. You will work closely with Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to upgrade materials and increase profitability, ensuring that every interaction aligns with the company's operational capabilities and market trends.
