We are seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Senior Manager of Facility Protection at Air Force Plant 4 in Fort Worth. Reporting to the Fort Worth Security & Emergency Services Director, you will provide security oversight for a massive multi-hundred-acre facility supporting over 20,000 employees, contractors, and visitors. This site includes active production and flight lines, requiring a robust approach to safeguarding personnel and property while maintaining strict compliance with customer facility security and fire requirements.
The Facility Protection department encompasses Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management, and Security Forces Operations. In this senior capacity, you will serve as the primary liaison with senior leaders from multiple government oversight agencies, local, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as counterparts across Aero and Corporate locations. Your mission is to lead a diverse team of firefighters, inspectors, EMTs, and security professionals, ensuring the seamless operation of armed contact security, parking administration, and physical security systems.
You will drive the strategic direction of the facility's protection programs, coordinating subordinate recruitment, training, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions. Success in this role requires the ability to interface with Executive Leadership to support ongoing operations and new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and executing business cases, budgets, and staffing plans while leading change in a collaborative and inclusive manner.
Expect to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment where you must manage multiple projects and subordinate assignments simultaneously. You will navigate an ambiguous and uncertain landscape, motivating and growing your Security Team members while building effective relationships with government customers and suppliers. Your work will directly impact the safety and security of one of the most critical aerospace production sites in the nation.

Work Schedule: This position operates on a 4x10 hour day schedule (3 days off per week). The selected employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part at the designated Lockheed Martin facility; the specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
