About the Role

This unique opportunity places you at the heart of Air Force operations in the Pacific theater. As a Security Specialist, you will join the team supporting the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Special Security Office at Headquarters PACAF, Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam. Your work will directly safeguard some of the Air Force's most sensitive operations and contribute to the readiness and security posture of over 1,000 SCI-indoctrinated personnel at Hickam AFB.

In this position, you will serve as the primary customer-facing representative for the PACAF SSO, managing the integrity and protection of all PACAF Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) on the base. Your day-to-day involves guiding decisions, streamlining processes, and upholding strict DoD and Air Force security standards. You will be the first point of contact for SCI indoctrination requests, access badge issuance, and network account approvals, while coordinating access reciprocity with INDOPACOM. This role offers the chance to support a mission of national importance while ensuring the physical, personnel, and information security of a high-stakes environment.
