About the Team
The Fidelity Security Team is part of Global Security and Investigations (GSI), operating around the clock to ensure the safety of Fidelity associates, customers, and assets. Through a combination of security, intelligence, safety, and business continuity operations, the team provides physical and technical security services to the Boston region. Our security representatives are highly trained to respond to safety and security concerns while monitoring state-of-the-art security systems.
About the Role
As a Security Representative, you will join a team that values safety, collaboration, and top-notch performance. This role is pivotal in delivering top-tier customer service and security operations that showcase Fidelity's dedication to maintaining a secure and inviting environment for all. You will work in a dynamic setting where your skills and devotion help uphold safety standards.
In this position, you will act as a primary decision-maker or incident commander during emergencies, performing first-responder rescue activities in medical or facility situations. Your day-to-day involves greeting visitors and associates with a professional demeanor, facilitating access control, and conducting proactive incident management. You will monitor threat intelligence to understand how internal and external risk environments impact site security, while also conducting focused patrols and regular inspections to verify the functionality of security equipment.
Success in this role requires the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and function both autonomously and collaboratively. You will be expected to deliver customer-centric experiences while adhering to strict company standards and policies.
