As a Security Officer, you will be the frontline guardian of our facilities, ensuring the safety and security of patients, residents, visitors, and staff. You will patrol and secure buildings and grounds, monitoring conduct and confronting unauthorized individuals for questioning. Your day will involve responding to assistance requests, solving problems with positive outcomes, and escorting personnel to parking areas as needed.
In this position, you will maintain awareness of local laws affecting private property and prioritize calls for service based on safety needs. You will be expected to work effectively in highly stressful situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts. The role requires maintaining accurate records, preparing incident reports, and communicating effectively with individuals of all age groups. Additionally, you may have access to areas where medications are stored to perform specific job-related functions.
