About the Role

As a Security Officer at Manzano by PureHealth, you will be part of a team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those we serve. This role is vital to maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. You will enforce policies and procedures while patrolling and securing facility buildings and grounds.

Your day will involve monitoring conduct on the premises, confronting unauthorized persons for questioning, and responding to all requests for assistance. You will be expected to prioritize calls for service based on safety needs and assist with problem-solving to achieve positive outcomes. The role requires the ability to work with all age groups and to de-escalate situations effectively in highly stressful environments. Additionally, you may have access to areas where medications are stored to perform specific job-related functions.

Hiring Process

Candidates with prior experience in healthcare security, contract security, and/or law enforcement are highly preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, as is college or vocational education.
