About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as a lead nurse in the Emergency Department of a community hospital setting. Unlike metro locations, this role provides greater autonomy with ER providers and deeper involvement in daily operational activities due to the smaller facility size. You will work alongside paramedics specially trained for the community hospital setting and spend more time directly with patients.
A key differentiator of this role is the opportunity to draw and process lab work on-site, expanding your clinical scope. You will perform ongoing assessments and provide direct patient care across a variety of acuity levels and conditions, from triage and stabilization to managing life support needs. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInitiate care to stabilize patients and assist in managing life support needs
- check_circleCollect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with CLIA regulations
- check_circleReport adverse treatments or medications in accordance with current policies and procedures
- check_circlePrepare patient meals as part of daily care duties

Requirements
- verified3-5 years experience
- verifiedBasic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross)
