At SCL Health Medical Group Clinics, this position serves as a strategic partner to Clinic Managers, dedicated to developing Medical Assistant Teams and Leads. The role focuses on optimizing workflows, refining protocols, and fostering team building and professional development. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the MA Scope of Practice, collaborating closely with Process Improvement, Ambulatory Informatics, Pharmacy, and other system resources to enhance patient-centered care.
In this capacity, you will coach providers and MAs to build trusting work relationships that maximize care quality. Your day-to-day involves observing workflows, evaluating processes, and making quality improvement recommendations to redesign how the clinic operates. You will be responsible for executing MA roles in pharmacy guidelines, including vaccine administration, controlled substances, and medication safety practices, while identifying and standardizing necessary protocols.
