About the Role
The Security Dispatcher is a vital component of the safety ecosystem at NewBridge on the Charles, a mission-driven community dedicated to the well-being of older adults. Based in the Security Operations Center, this non-patrol, seated role serves as the communication hub for the campus. You will be the first point of contact for emergency responders and the central coordinator for real-time incident management, ensuring a calm, safe, and responsive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
This position is uniquely suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced dispatch environment, combining strong situational awareness with professional communication skills. As a per diem team member, you will play a critical role in maintaining security coverage, particularly during weekends and holidays when your presence is essential for the safety of the community.
Availability & Commitment
We are currently seeking per diem candidates who can commit to a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month (24 hours per quarter). Availability is primarily required on weekends (Friday through Sunday), making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexible, part-time work within a supportive, mission-oriented organization.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Familiarity with radio dispatch, emergency procedures, and access control systems. Customer service experience in healthcare, residential, or hospitality settings. Valid driver's license. BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification.
