About the Role
As a Security Officer at Denali Universal Services, you will serve as the first line of defense for our clients' work sites, personnel, and assets. Operating under limited supervision, this role is critical to maintaining a safe and secure environment in industrial settings. You will be the face of our company, interacting professionally with everyone from internal staff to external agencies and the general public.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of proactive monitoring and responsive action. You will conduct regular vehicular and foot patrols to inspect premises, enforce access control, and ensure all doors, windows, and gates remain secure. A significant portion of your time will be spent operating and monitoring integrated security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control panels, while remaining alert to any anomalies. Whether managing emergency calls, dispatching personnel, or responding to incidents calmly and effectively, your ability to think on your feet and adhere to established operational procedures is essential.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team while also demonstrating strong independence. You may occasionally step up into a Lead or Shift Supervisor role, and you will be expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Requirements

- verifiedState Unarmed Security Officer License or able to obtain
- verifiedProficient English language skills

Nice to Have
Ability to learn, understand and operate integrated sensor packages, including audio, video, motion detection, and access control systems. Previous experience working at a Security Operation Center (SOC) or in a Dispatch environment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to remain calm and to mitigate high stress security situations involving multiple complex operations and large groups of personnel. Maturity of judgement and behavior. Ability to present self in a highly professional manner with the understanding that honesty, integrity and ethics are essential. Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work well alone and within a team.
