As a Cook, you will be the hands-on engine of our kitchen, responsible for preparing a wide variety of entrees, vegetables, salads, and desserts for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets. Your work ensures that every dish is palatable, safe, and compliant with standardized recipes, portion controls, and specific dietary spreadsheets.
You will work directly alongside the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to execute daily production, manage inventory, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. From thawing and prepping ingredients to managing the ticket line and ensuring food is served at the correct temperatures, your attention to detail directly impacts the quality of care our residents receive. This is a fast-paced environment where you will coordinate with team members to keep service flowing smoothly while adhering to local, state, federal, and Kosher regulations.
