About the Role
This position serves as a vital link between store operations, vendor partnerships, and the customer experience. While the majority of the role focuses on behind-the-scenes execution of merchandise resets, project coordination, and store maintenance, the team member is expected to engage directly with customers whenever the opportunity arises. The role exists to ensure the store environment is safe, organized, and visually appealing, driving add-on sales through precise merchandising and maintaining the integrity of Lowe's service standards.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of analytical and physical tasks. You will collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and store managers to align on project priorities, schedules, and resource needs. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to executing merchandise resets, which includes moving beams and grids, rotating stock, and utilizing power equipment like lifts and order pickers to build and display products according to planogram specifications.
Safety and compliance are central to your daily routine. You will conduct daily safety reviews, ensure all displays are secure, and maintain a clean work environment by managing trash, debris, and damaged packaging. You will also monitor store security, identifying potential theft risks and ensuring all pricing and signage are accurate and visible.
When interacting with customers, you will act as a knowledgeable guide. This includes assisting shoppers in locating and selecting merchandise, demonstrating product features, and explaining warranty or special order details. You will also respond promptly to questions from both customers and employees, walking them through projects or directing them to the appropriate store areas.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. While not required, prior experience in Lowe's sales floor operations, product merchandising (including reading planograms), and operating power equipment is highly valued.

Requirements
