This position serves as a vital link between store operations, vendor partnerships, and the customer experience. The primary mission is to ensure the store environment is safe, organized, and visually appealing while supporting the Merchandising Service team in executing complex reset and project initiatives. While the majority of the role focuses on behind-the-scenes execution—managing stock, maintaining displays, and ensuring compliance—the role also requires a customer-first mindset, engaging with shoppers to assist with product selection, loading, and project guidance whenever opportunities arise.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of physical execution and strategic collaboration. You will spend significant time operating power equipment like lifts and order pickers to manage top stock, rotate inventory, and build product displays according to precise planograms. A key part of your workflow involves collaborating with store leadership to communicate project priorities, schedule needs, and material requirements.
Safety and compliance are woven into every task. You will conduct daily safety reviews, ensure all reset displays are secure, and maintain a clean environment by managing trash, debris, and housekeeping standards. You will also act as a guardian of the store's visual integrity by auditing pricing labels, updating wayfinding signage, and ensuring merchandise is color-blocked and stocked correctly to drive sales.
When the floor is active, you will transition into a customer-facing role. This includes listening to customer needs, demonstrating products, and walking them through projects. You will also serve as a security partner by detecting signs of theft or safety hazards and communicating them promptly to management.
Candidates with a High School diploma or GED are encouraged to apply. While prior experience is not strictly required, candidates with 6 months of sales floor experience, merchandising background, or experience operating power equipment will be highly competitive.
