This position serves as a vital link between store operations, vendor partnerships, and the customer experience. The role focuses on executing Lowe's customer service policies and managing merchandise resets to ensure the store environment is safe, organized, and visually appealing. While the majority of the time is spent on behind-the-scenes execution—such as analyzing project metrics, coordinating with the Merchandising Service team, and managing inventory logistics—the individual is expected to engage directly with customers whenever the opportunity arises to assist with locating, demonstrating, or loading merchandise.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of operational execution and customer interaction. You will collaborate with store leadership to communicate project priorities and ensure materials and supplies are ready for resets. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining the store's visual standards: moving beams and grids, rotating stock, building products, and utilizing power equipment like lifts and order pickers to place items according to planograms.
Safety and compliance are central to your daily routine. You will verify that all reset displays are secure, repair damaged packaging, and ensure pricing labels are accurate and visible. You will also monitor the store for security risks, manage waste disposal, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs. When customers approach, you will listen to their needs, provide knowledgeable answers regarding stock and warranties, and guide them through the store to find the products they need.
Candidates with a high school diploma or GED are encouraged to apply. While prior experience is not strictly required, candidates with 6 months of sales floor experience, merchandising tasks, or power equipment operation are preferred. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can effectively balance operational duties with a commitment to customer service excellence.
