About the Role
This position offers a dynamic opportunity to join a specialized sales force or guest experience team. Whether you are a Seasonal Specialty Sales Consultant providing tailored suggestions, a Service & Engagement Advocate welcoming guests, or a General Merchandise & Food Sales Expert ensuring product is set and in-stock, your work directly inspires guests and builds the basket.
You will be part of a fun, energetic environment where efficiency and teamwork are key. The role is far from a desk job; you will be busy all day, especially on weekends, making it easy for guests to feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded. You will gain hands-on experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency, while executing daily workloads to support business priorities.
The Day-to-Day
Your day will involve a mix of active selling, compelling visual merchandising presentations, and resolving guest questions quickly on the spot. You will stock, set, and sell Target products, ensuring a consistent experience for our guests. This includes accurately handling cash register operations, scanning and moving merchandise efficiently, and climbing ladders to maintain the sales floor. The role requires the ability to work both independently and as a team, adapting to current technology needs while maintaining a welcoming and helpful attitude.
