As a Sealant Operator on the 1st Shift, you will play a vital role in building aircraft 787 structures and carbon fiber parts. Working at the end of the assembly line, your focus will be on utilizing resins and epoxies to construct parts according to engineering drawings, company specifications, and customer requirements. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and quality of the final product, requiring careful handling of detail and manufactured parts to prevent damage.
Your day-to-day involves sealing parts per manufacturing orders, documenting materials for traceability, and safely handling regulated materials. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, organizing completed parts and paperwork, and creating shipping documentation to indicate when parts are ready for invoicing. Collaboration with the Shipping Department to prepare parts for packing is also a key part of the workflow. This position requires a strong commitment to confidentiality regarding Safran products and the flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions and assigned tasks.
