TAG-B Parking LLC is a leader in transportation services, providing reliable and professional solutions to commercial, residential, and event-based clients. Our shuttle operations are a vital part of our service, helping people move safely and efficiently every day. We take pride in our team of skilled drivers and are committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.
We are seeking conscientious drivers with excellent customer service skills to transport students with disabilities to and from DC area schools. This role operates on the DC public school schedule and is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting the community. While experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, it is not required; what matters most is your dedication to safety and your ability to provide a friendly, supportive environment for our students.
As a School Van Driver, you will be the first and last point of contact for students on their daily journey. Your day involves ensuring reliable and punctual arrivals at every pickup and drop-off location. You will assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle, including operating specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. Beyond driving, you will supervise students to ensure their safety, enforce rules like seat belt usage, and maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle. This position requires a can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
To be hired, all candidates must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Candidates will also need to submit and pass a DOT medical exam, TB screen, and criminal background check. The process ensures that every team member meets the high safety and reliability standards TAG-B Parking upholds.
TAG-B Parking is an equal opportunity employer. In all our employment practices, including hiring, we are firmly committed to providing equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, genetics, Vietnam era, special disabled, recently separated and other protected veterans, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. No question in our application process is used for the process of limiting or excluding any applicant's consideration for employment on such grounds. TAG-B Parking also participates in E-Verify.
