VetPride Services is dedicated to supporting the Dallas and Fort Worth VA Medical Centers by providing a complimentary shuttle service for patients and employees. Our mission prioritizes the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel, ensuring that those who served are supported in their continued service to the community.
As a Shuttle Driver, you will be the first point of contact for VA patients and staff, greeting them in a professional manner as they arrive or depart. Your day will involve safely operating the shuttle between parking areas and designated stops while adhering to strict VA safety protocols and regulations. A key part of your role is assisting customers with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring their safe and comfortable transition to and from the vehicle.
You will work as part of a collaborative team to maintain a successful transportation schedule, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to keep the shuttle in excellent condition. This includes refueling and cleaning the vehicle as needed. While the position is on-call from Monday to Friday, reliability and the ability to work independently within established guidelines are essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a pre-employment background check, DMV check, and drug screening. Successful applicants will be required to possess a valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License with a P endorsement and a current DOT Medical Certificate.
VetPride Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We prioritize the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds to join our team.
