As a Service Dispatch Specialist, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our field technicians. In this role, you are the main point of contact for creating and scheduling service tickets, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your day involves managing technician schedules, assigning daily tasks, and collaborating with the team to assess and prioritize urgent tickets as they arise.
You will be responsible for forecasting workload two to three days in advance and maintaining the dispatch board to ensure optimal resource allocation. A key part of your day-to-day involves communicating with customers regarding parts availability and updating systems with real-time technician status. You will also participate in daily conference calls with District Service Managers to escalate any concerns regarding service level agreements or technician availability, ensuring that our commitment to urgency and accuracy is met.
