The Scheduler 2 is a pivotal role designed to manage increasingly complex project schedules while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position goes beyond simple data entry; it requires visiting job sites to review status, drafting and updating schedules, and mentoring less experienced co-workers. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, making decisions on non-routine matters and providing strategic recommendations to supervisors.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams to build and update schedules across all phases of the construction planning process, from proposal creation to baseline establishment and ongoing updates. You will apply construction sequencing knowledge to accurately reflect job site realities, ensuring that the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule aligns with Lean and Pull Planning results. Your work will directly support the strategy, vision, and values of JE Dunn, helping to drive efficiency and best practices across the organization.
