Through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort, we support the acquisition of state-of-the-art satellite communication systems, ensuring global, secure, and survivable communications for warfighters.
We are seeking a SATCOM Requirements Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. In this position, you will define the next generation of space communication systems supporting the US Space Force. You will operate within a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment, interfacing with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians, and USSF personnel.
Your work will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that shape the future of space defense. You will lead and support technical working groups to resolve risks, identify requirement gaps, and develop briefings for program leadership. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges in integrating space and ground communications systems using modern tools and methodologies.

Experience with Agile development tools or methodologies. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Experience with MILSATCOM systems (AEHF, EPS, WGS, Tactical SATCOM, COMSATCOM). Background working with DoD or military customers. Familiarity with space and ground systems such as satellite communications, terminals, or DoD networks.
