Waxing the City is seeking an engaging, results-driven, and resourceful leader to join our dynamic team as a Studio Manager in Raleigh, NC. As a Studio Manager, you will run the business as if you own it. You are responsible for all day-to-day operations, team leadership, guest care, and the overall performance and profitability of the studio. Your work directly impacts the success of the enterprise by serving as a flagship location for the brand. Under your leadership, your studio will demonstrate what "good looks like" and become a regular part of our sales and training process.
A successful Studio Manager leverages industry experience and inspirational leadership skills to hire and retain top talent. You will cultivate a positive, high-performance, and surprisingly personable culture while ensuring a world-class guest experience that drives retention and referrals. You will coach the team daily to deliver year-over-year profitable growth.
This position reports directly to the owner and includes multiple direct reports, including Waxing Specialists (Cerologists) and Studio Coordinators. The role requires high accessibility, serving as the first point of contact during studio hours and occasionally before or after hours, as well as coverage for all studio coordinator shifts.

Requirements

3+ years management and marketing experience in a retail or service business. Experience in the salon, spa, or waxing industry.
