Core-Mark is the industry leader in fresh and broadline solutions for the convenience retail industry. With a reputation for empowering customers, employees, and communities, we have become the largest, most comprehensive marketer of consumer goods in North America. We offer a full range of products, programs, and solutions to convenience operators across the U.S. and Canada.
The Sales Representative position offers an exciting chance to fuel our company's growth by supporting America's food distribution system. You will oversee a broad array of existing independent convenience store customers, driving sales through our varied foodservice and convenience programs. This role extends beyond maintaining existing accounts; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships.
This is more than just a job—it is a thrilling journey of building success stories and enhancing profitability store by store. Your compensation will directly reflect these achievements, with top performers earning well over $100,000 annually. You will blend charisma, innovation, and customer engagement with a keen understanding of the competitive market to reach and exceed expectations.
You will spend your days driving to customer locations across your assigned sales territory, as 80% of this role requires local travel. Your work involves prospecting and onboarding new accounts, educating customers on foodservice programs and new product promotions, and reviewing reports with store managers. You will monitor accounts for credit compliance, stay aware of pricing trends, and identify opportunities for campaigns and distribution channels that increase sales. While the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, the role demands an energetic and entrepreneurial spirit to work independently with little direction.
We are seeking a standout candidate who possesses a proven track record in B2B sales and a deep understanding of food safety standards. The application process focuses on identifying individuals with sharp critical thinking, superior communication skills, and the ability to conduct professional, results-driven customer presentations.
