This outside sales position is designed for experienced Sales Professionals, Restaurant Managers, Culinary Managers, or Chefs looking to advance their careers. You will join a world-class sales team responsible for promoting Sysco's products and services while building lasting relationships with new and existing accounts. The core mission is to help Sysco customers succeed by achieving sales and profit goals within the US-NY-Albany territory.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, researching customer business needs to develop tailored product and service mixes. You will evaluate market trends, recommend innovative solutions, and provide practical training to customer personnel. Success requires adaptability, as the position may involve non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs. You will also manage deliveries, troubleshoot order issues, and engage in ongoing training to master different ethnic segments and sales strategies.
Candidates must be willing to reside in or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the territory. The selection process includes passing employment testing and signing the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
