We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager (CPG & Grocery) to lead and expand our grocery retail channel, with a specific focus on the KeHE and UNFI networks. This role is designed to drive revenue growth and elevate Essor's brand presence across multiple product lines by managing key retail partnerships and executing strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will operate with a business-owner mindset, leveraging exceptional relationship-building skills to onboard multiple Essor brands and maximize distribution opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for buyer communications and negotiations, representing Essor at industry trade shows to strengthen relationships with grocery buyers and retail partners. Beyond external engagement, this position involves managing and mentoring a Sales Associate, fostering a collaborative, results-driven team environment through coaching and professional development.
Day-to-day, you will balance high-level strategic planning with technical operational execution. This includes mastering distributor portals like KeHE Connect and UNFI Insights to ensure account health, optimizing inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks and fines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in marketing, operations, and finance. You will also partner with Engineering and Data teams to automate reporting workflows and explore AI-powered analytics to anticipate market shifts and demand surges.
