The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Sales Consultant is responsible for implementing Boehringer Ingelheim's ILD sales and marketing plans to assure maximum distribution and market penetration of our products within company guidelines. You will conduct business with key ILD Clinics and targeted Pulmonologists, Rheumatologists, Radiologists, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and Allied Healthcare Professionals. The role involves managing a specific geography that may require overnight travel and occasional night and weekend ILD meeting responsibilities. You will also engage in sales activities within teaching and community hospitals, as well as federal and military hospitals.
In this position, you will establish and maintain effective communication and cooperation with internal team members. You will foster network development among healthcare professionals, facilitating patient management and decision-making processes through the exchange of scientific knowledge. The role requires identifying key business needs, developing business plans, and collaborating with Associate Directors, Clinical Educators, and Payer Relations Managers to accomplish strategic opportunities. You will also manage programs and budgets, develop thought leaders and advocates, and ensure all business activities comply with regulations such as FDA, DEA, and PhRMA standards.
Candidates will be hired at a level commensurate with their experience (ILD Sales Consultant I, II, or Senior). Eligibility requirements include being legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, being 18 years of age or older, and willingness to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical if required.
