About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the Sales team by translating customer demand for automated, robotic, and conventional racking systems into concrete solutions. Your primary mission is to lead the effort to convert customer requests into optimized rack configurations that win orders, preparing the corresponding calculations and quotations.
You will partner closely with Account Managers and the sales team to discuss offers, identify missing information, explore alternative proposal configurations, and assess risks. This role requires a creative and analytic mindset to suggest alternative designs that make the rack better and more cost-effective for the customer. You will also collaborate with the Structural Engineering Department, purchasing, and logistics to ensure accuracy in quotes and project proposals.
