About the Role
This position serves as a strategic partner to Key Account Managers, driving business growth by engaging key internal partners. The Bid Specialist follows an organized process for managing responses to customer bid requests, including Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFI).
In this role, you will own the bid process for Key Accounts, leading the intake, internal communication, and compilation of bid information. You will orchestrate all aspects of the bid response process to ensure customer timelines are met, preparing and reviewing final responses prior to submission. The role also involves collecting and communicating customer feedback from bid results to build competitive intelligence for future opportunities.

This is a hybrid opportunity. We prefer candidates located close to our office locations in Dublin, OH; The Woodlands, TX; or Downers Grove, IL.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent in related work experience
- verified3+ years experience in chemical distribution
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- verifiedAbility to navigate Salesforce.com, SAP, Tableau
