The Sales Coordinator position is primarily responsible for supporting the Sales Manager and the Sales Department. This role is for those driven to generate sales and understand what is important for a successful transaction. You will assist in all aspects of in-house sales, including telemarketing, selling guest rooms, handling special guest requests, and managing catering services and banquet facilities.
In this position, you will conduct research, prepare statistical reports, collect and process sensitive data, resolve client concerns, and provide high-level administrative support. You will be expected to exhibit key features and benefits of the hotel during site inspections, prepare presentations, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure sales efforts are coordinated. Your goal is to achieve sales revenue goals by managing in-house guests and securing new business through outside sales calls, networking events, and internet prospecting. You will serve as a positive representation of the property, demonstrating a "top-notch" attitude and anticipating guest needs proactively.
